(If you didn't know: Quadro is Nvidia’s professional grade series of GPUs. They are designed for high precision workstations and excel at demanding tasks such as computer-assisted drafting, engineering, and geometric simulations. They also are outstanding performers for digital image editing and viewing. The latter is why I use them. In fact, I'll be replacing the X1950Pro in my system 1 within a couple weeks with a Quadro.)

I have a few of these cards running 3Ds Max on a few of my towers... They run perfect in both OpenGL and in Direct 3D. and at $150 that is beyond a bargain... Also I have one of them running a dual 22" CRT setup with a res max of 3960 x 2400... I can have Photoshop 3 instances of Max and a few other goodies running on screen with no issues :)

I use a Quadro FX 1300 at work, and it's great. Leo's card would make a great workstation card for CAD/GIS/whatever-you-do

I've got an X1950Pro in this rig right now. I had a Quadro in here before. No contest. The 1950 will be coming out within a few weeks.
