I have a lot of 160GB Maxtor IDE Hard Drives and I mean a lot. As of right now I have only tested 2 of the 50+. The SN on the two drives is Y42LMA4E and Y41X33PE. I am asking $25 each, shipping included. I will have more drives tested in a few weeks and will update them here. Price is negotiable.

160GB Maxtor IDE Hard Drives used - $25 each, shipped to the US //SOLD OUT until the 17 - Check back then.

    BARGAIN!
    shipped to the lower 48
Get with the times! USPS Priority Flat Rate is the same shipping charge to Hawaii or Alaska as it is across town. Wow, lots of outdated ideas about Alaska and Hawaii bubbling up.

Both of the drives, Y42LMA4E and Y41X33PE, are not under warranty. I know some of the drives are still covered, but not for much longer. I will know about the other drives on 17 of this month.

    Time for an update:

I have a Western Digital 160GB IDE hard drive that I will sell for $35 shipped. This drive was manufactured in 2005 and is under warranty until 2010.

I also have 2 tested Maxtor 160GB drives that are pending sale. I have ~40 untested drives that are back at home. If you're interested in one of these, PM me and I'll get back to you when I have them tested.

Just got the drive in my hand 10 minutes ago. Packing was adequate, communication and ease of business were both excellent. Best part of the deal was speed. I ordered the thing late thursday, and I got it saturday afternoon. I don't know how the hell you got snail mail to get it here so fast, but I figured I wouldn't be seeing this drive until sometime next week.

Thanks for all the good comments everyone! Glad to hear that you enjoy your drives. I am all sold out of drives for right now, but I might get a hold of more later. If you bought a drive and have an account at heatware, let me know so I can leave feedback.
