This is interesting. I've gotten quite a few 2610's that really do well folding on this rig at about 1010 PPD. Now today I get this 2651 that gets 1270 PPD. Just wondering if you guys are seeing the same type results with this wu. I bet the C2D's will eat these alive! :fold:

Averaging about 1250 on my overclocked D9xx CPUs.
    About 900 on my C2D laptop (1.83GHz T2400).
    2651 that gets 1270 PPD
Is that an Opteron or X2? And what's the overclock on that?

My main rig was running a great 1450 PPD with 2651's but now it hit a 2610 and is only running at 800 PPD

That's interesting. My D9XX boxes run 2651s at around 1250PPD and the 2610s at close to 1200. That's only a production delta of about 50PPD. The delta on your machine over 600! I'm wondering if CPU on-die cache is the difference. What CPU are you reporting? The D930s and D915 have 2MB L2 cache.

It is the L2 cache Leo, large thread on the FCF about 2610 it really likes a large amount of L2 cache

My SMP is running on 2 Xeon 3.6Ghz "Nocona Core" CPU's and I am pretty sure it is running 1MB cache per CPU.

So that's a dual CPU rig? The Nocona core - is that Netburst? What are your frame times/PPD on 2651? 2610?
