Please critique/rip apart this invitation :)

This is the invitation to my eagle court of honor that is 100% my own design. I'd like you to be utterly merciless with it. I want it to be (near) perfect:bigggrin:
So anyway, let the (constructive) criticism flow!
The main things I see with it are:
I've attached a low quality pdf as well as linked to a high quality pdf that's on my web server.

The main things I see with it are:
- The front blue/red/silver stripes are an 80% tint, and the red looks a bit orange, and the blue isn't deep, but I want the badge to be the focal point. I fear that if I make the colors too deep then the eye will wonder to them instead of the badge and words
- the badge needs a bit more photoshop work around the edge as white is still visible.

1 - would the medal not be better in a bronze or gold tint? (sorry, I don't know what the real one looks like)
2) for some reason, I thought it was easier to read the characteristics, eg "Obedient" and so on oriented down rather than oriented up
Overall, I think the invitation is very attractive. If you can manage a bright sheen for the medal when you print, that would look great.
Great accomplishment - Eagle Scout.
I worked with the badge image, I used the magic wand and pulled all the edges in and feathered them out, so now it looks like it was meant to be there and not just slapped on. I printed it on photographic paper and I really like the look, but I think I might just do 40-60lb cover and call it good. I just hope that the colors look as vibrant off of the printer as they do here.
I just wish that I could have afforded to actually run the silver as a pantone metallic silver spot, but it is just too much for my small run (50)
I think that I'm going to push the date back to the 19th so that I will have more time to get everything ready as well as allow people more time to respond. Which reminds me, I have to finish up the rsvp cards...
