How do I change "My Computer" layout back to normal.

The layout in "My Computer" has changed from the original layout (where it divides into groups - "Files stored on this computer" / "Local Drives" / "Removable Disks" / "Other" )
into all the icons just being lumped together.
This happened after my kid had been mucking around with the settings and now I don't know how to set it back....any ideas?
I have tried setting the display properties back to "Set for optimal appearance" and changing my theme back to orignal "Windows XP" setting but neither has worked..........

I guess your kid will have to fix it for you!

Did you try the Folder Options under the Tools tab?

Never mind I worked it out.......
In "My Computer" right click on screen "Arrange icons by" click "Type" and then tick "Show In Groups"

Have you tried right-clicking > Arrange Icons By > Show In Groups? Also, make sure "Type" is selected in "Arrange Icons By".

Edit: Glad you figured it out!

Sorry I couldn't have gotten you there sooner. I almost never use My Computer, preferring instead the dual-pane view of Windows Explorer.
