KVM's?!

Does anyone use a KVM with 3 or more computers, all of which have to be equipped with optical mice such as the Intellimouse Explorer with 4 buttons and a wheel? I need one that will run that mouse w/o screwing up and freezing, which my last one did every time I switched between computers.

I recomend ServSwitches from Black Box. Best KVMs on the market.

If you dont see what you want with Black Box, theyll custom build it for you.

Theyre a bit on the pricey side, but theyre the best in the buisness, and theyre customer support is excellent too.

I have the sv211k(2 port) and it works fine with my explorer 3.0 using the usb->ps2 adapter. I believe they also make a model that has usb on it.

No, I haven't tried yet. I figured I would draw on the vast experience of our members for a suggestion rether than just buying, having it not work, and then sending it to you!!!

Check with teh manufacturer to verify your mouse but we used to Belkin ones at work

I just called Star-tech support and they said that their KVM's do NOT support any mice with more than 3 buttons. So, any other suggestions? I'm calling Belkin, next.
