I'm working on replacing my pc6085b tray with a pc6077 tray ...the reason is because I've always wanted the two rear fan slots and extra ventilation. I'll let you know how this transpires.

Uh, why not just cut a second fan hole in the standard tray?

I've thought about it ...and thought about it ...it's just a little too close for comfort for me.

LOL ...it's funny you should post that ...I just got my final response from lian-li today and in a nutshell he says that no one is supplying tray's for the 6077 yet but I can place an order.
This is the confusion that transpired along 5 emails and halfway across the planet ...pretty good communication I was expecting something more along the lines of engrish.com!

    email #1 csimon:
Can I replace my motherboard tray 8057 with the tray from a 6077? If so, is this part available serparately? I would like 2 exhaust fans at rear and I like the new tray.

    lian-li response:
    What is 8057??
We don't have this part number ..

    email #2 csimon:
I'm sorry I must have made a mistake and mixed numbers ...I am
referring to the pc-6085b black case with 2 red lights on each side and usb at bottom ...will the tray from a 6077 fit a 6085b? If so how can I get this?

    lian-li response:
    Hi
    They are compatible ..
    You can do it ..

    email #3 csimon:
Is the 6077 tray available as a seperate part?

    lian-li response:
Please advise your country and state.

    email #4 csimon:
    country: usa
    state: louisiana

    lian-li response:
    Hi
    You can buy PC-60 trey
    They are same ..
    Please call Ascent
    908-523-1800

    email #5 csimon:
ok ...but what I really want is the back that is attached to the tray which has cut-outs for 2 rear fans ...

    lian-li response:
So far , no distributor carry PC-6077's motherboard trey.
You can call them, and ask them order for you.

The short of it is ...I will attempt to cut the whole myself however I want to know that if anything goes wrong there is something I can fall back too ...

I did that to my PC-60. It is a little tight, but two fans fit there just fine. (since then, i've replaced the 2x 80 with a single 90mm fan)

why not just pick up the 6077 and use it? :P
i got it when it was first imported, and very much love it. the flexibility of a completely open front bezel for blowholes or whatnot is sexy!
