    Whatever you do DO NOT WRITE TO AN NTFS DRIVE WITH LINUX. It will destroy the data (or at least a very high probability of doing so).

    It's the FAT32 drive he is having trouble writing to with Windows.

    Yeah I know, I've been waiting for stable NTFS drivers for linux that can write to the partition :(
