Nf7-s 2.0 bios bug?

It all happened when i was playing a game. The board just turned off. To get it to turn back on, i have to unplug the ATX connecter and short the green to the black wires to make the PSU come on. Then i simply plug it back in and hit the power switch on the case to make the system start. The only thing is, it doesnt boot entirely, after it shows the cpu info and memory, it shuts off...

Sigh, what do you guys think? Ive already cleared the cmos and all that...

I emailed abit about this and asked them to send me another bios chip to pop in there. I havent heard from them yet though.

Help/advice please?

Thanks,
~LIQ

You aren't alone, my friend. I'm hearing of other NF7-S 2.0 boards with unusual BIOS problems.

    Here's mine:

If I attempt to raise the FSB (User Defined settings), the machine will not reboot past half of the POST without removal of the CMOS battery for an hour or so. It's not a voltage issue; it's not a RAM headroom issue, as the RAM is underclocked to 333DDR (No. 2) below. I've set the BIOS to "CPU Interface" (allows manual CPU/bus settings) - still no reboot.

Perhaps I'm just ignorant about Baron CPUs. They don't need unlocking for FSB boost, do they? I've spent all my time so far tweaking and overclocking No. 1; it'd be nice to now put No. 2 through its paces.

(If this is not a BIOS problem, but 'user headspace', I'll be happy to move this post into a new thread.)
