is this normal?
i bought a Geforce 4 ti4200 128mb bought a week and a half ago.. and its been doing this and kinda getting worse... do i have a bad card? shoould i send it back or what should i do?
Ewww. It looks like the RAM maybe over heating/faulty. I assume you are not overclocking the card. It deffinitly does not look good. You could try cooling the card (open the case up and point a house fan at it ghetto style ) but other than that I think it needs to go back to the store.

i have my case open aswell, and i have a room airconditioner so ... the ghetto style you sughest may not work
Contact newegg and ask them how they handle returns...
As for what is causing this, it seems more like a rendering issue NOT a result of heat as it's doesn't look like consistant artifacting, which usually shows up as long triangulations/distortions (overheated core) or as small dots (overheated memory).

Just call NewEgg customer service and they will tell you exactly how to return the card and how to get a new one.
Be sure you have the invoice when you purchased the card.
It should have came in the box with the card and you can print out a copy of the billing on the internet.
Customer Service will tell you how to return the card step by step.
