Dell Dimension 8100 Upgrade Questions

Helping a friend to upgrade his Dell Dimension 8100;

P4 1.3 Ghz 400 FSB with 2x 128 MB PC600 RIMM's
The idea being to get a "p478" from www.upgradeware.com and then get a Northwood P4 2.4 400 FSB CPU. Anyone have any experience with the p478 from upgradeware? The Dell Dim 8100 is listed as compatible but i'd like to here from someone who got it working. Also looking at getting the following recommended RAM for the board

    Dunno how much the P4, adapter and RAM will cost, but my guess is that by the time you're done buying the stuff to upgrade that Dell, you could probably have a power supply, motherboard, and Athlon XP...
