the catch is, you have to promise to give at least one of your invites back to another icf member so that everyone on the forums that wants gmail, can have it, and then you can invite your friends.
i think i have 5 invites left... hmmm... i'm willing to get rid of at least 2 of 'em to the kind folks at ICF. lemme know and i'll hook ya up!
so i noticed earlier in the day today, that i no longer have the little red link at the top that says "invite someone to gmail" but rather a little blue box thingy on the side. i vaguely take note, and then go on about my way. so a little later tonite, i check to see how many invites i have, and it says 50. at first i thought i read it wrong, but does anyone elses say that? 50 frickin invites? thats insane! i was having a hard enough time getting rid of 2 or 3.
So, Now that you all have tried GMail. Tell me what you think of it compared to hotmail--outlook--yahoo--netscape-- or other e-mail proggys.? What do you find better in it?
well, they made pop access available not too long ago, and i wanted to integrate gmail into outlook 2k3, but i found, that i was missing the whole web gui. its just so nice, and smooth and quick. so, i dunno, i used to be really down that i couldnt get it to work with outlook, but now, i prefer the gui. oh well
