First steps are always the hardest, and that which you do not know can be SCARY until you grok it enough to be comfortable.
John-- whose got many of that kind of "Been Dere, Dun DAT!" T-Shirts of the virtual mental kind. No Phear can be dumb, lots of fear of "what if I break it" can be a major obstacle in life-- takes broken eggs and burnt pans to learn to make a GREAT Omelet. Balance helps, on the Less Phear but some native caution side.
