Well... got my Ultra X-Connect 500W PSU today... hooked it all up (Correctly, I'm positive...) and when I power on... lights flash on... then off, fans start to spin up then slow down and stop. I tried all different power cord combinations and still nothing... hooked up my old psu and everything worked again so I'm thinkin ZipZoomFly sent me a bad psu *tear* Guess I'll have to send it back and try again unless anyone knows about this problem by chance...

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Tho i've seen them in reviews, the outer casing is nice and the custom grills add a nice touch/ Not to mention the choice of hookin up the cables that are needed so there's no rat's nest in the pc case. But IMHO I think they're a waste. It's more show and no-go.

I'll stick to my Fortron 530w with the adjustable VR's :)

    Good luck with the RMA-

Time to shutdown and see if it works!

Update! : It works! woohoo! I'll be getting a webcam soon so I'll get some pictures of this thing w/ the lights turned on! I got wires runnin' all over so it's pretty sick lookin!

    *sighs*
I really, really wish people would stop buying the XConnect PSUs. They're the riced out Civics of power supplies. They're expensive, they look good, but lift the hood and they're still a piece of crap.
