Looking for a gamepad

So I fired up Final Fantasy 7... and since my keyboard doesn't have a keypad, I had to hook up a full-sized keyboard just to play it. Suffice to say, that wasn't fun, so I'm looking for a good gamepad. Any reccomendations?

I've got one of these......still brand new with packaging. Used it maybe 2 times... They go for $84.99 US right now. I'll let it go for $45.00 & shipping.
There's 100's of ways to set it for your own personal control settings. Oh, And it's USB. Compatible with Win 98,ME,2000 and XP. Also unofficial support for MacOS and Linux.
I got so used to playing UT on the keyboard that nothing else worked for me.
I'm a spoiled keyboard player. Other than flying games and then I use my Freedom 2.4 Cordless joystick.

It's called the claw. You rest your left hand in it and use just fingers on the buttons.
You use it in conjunction with the mouse.
Click on the price... it will take you to the site.
If you go to the Info page there's Features, Installation, Programming, FAQ's.

Nah, I'm not too found of X-Box controllers. I like PS2 controllers. I was thinking of purchasing one actually, and using a PS2-USB adapter, but that would have been too clunky and there would have been like, 50 feet of cables. I suppose I could have spliced it shorter... oh well. I ended up buying a Saitek P2500 Rumble Pad.

It's pretty decent and now I'm addicted to arcade games like Street Fighter Alpha 3. I even bought a strategy guide for it, heh. Never knew how deep the Street Fighter series can be (tactic-wise).
