lol! You have to book the feather bowling alleys for like, 4 months in advance.

Although -tk is good friends with the owners/staff at the Cadieux Cafe.... who knows?

And believe you me, I would love a good middle eastern meal, but I can't forsee an organized trip to a place....

Nope, per capita, G.P.Shores is THE wealthiest community in the US.

Every resident is like, at least a multimillionaire... The houses are disgusting.

Anywho....good point about reserving the Cafe 4 months in advance...always forget we go on a tuesday and there is never much of a wait.

    * primesuspect gets defensive about the "D"

It wasn't you specifically, Camman. No worries. It's just that for my whole life I've been dealing with sideways looks whenever the word "detroit" comes up. It's mostly the media that perpetrates the image that somehow Detroit is a wreck of a place. It's no different than any other big city I've been to: keep your wits about you, keep your eyes a little bit more open, and don't drive around with your wallet hanging out of your pants flashing huge bills with your windows down listening to country music. It's easy! :D

So true, it's always the media.

for example Gary, Indiana have a higher crime per person than detorit, and i bet a lot of you never even heard of Gary, Indiana.

If you drive to Chicago via I-94 you pass through Gary and it looks like..... well hell, at least Michael Jackson came from Gary..... HEY, WAIT A MINUTE.........

Gary Indiana isn't that bad... Gary is just trying to get movie production companies to see how "realistic" of a post war city would look like. Picture it as a live, in use, movie set.

As for the Mike Jackson thing.... now you see why he made his own world to play in.... couldn’t play in Gary.

hahahh Gary DOES look like a post-war wasteland, that's true. It looks like the future from "T3"....

Wendy's and the Bell work for me. :D know if there's an atm around? I don't wanna carry a lot of cash on me, and I'm sure the fast food places don't accept plastic (at least they don't around here, except the Dees).

The only fast food places in the vicinity that accept debit is Arby's which is about 4 miles away, and subway.

There are plenty of ATMs everywhere. They are in basically every gas station.

Taco Bell, Wendys, Subway, Pizza is fine with me.

But it is like against my religion to eat at McDonalds, everyone I have been at seems to be the dirt pits of fast food places.
