The shuttle is dying....

Well, it looks like my shuttle mobo took a crap on me. Originally I posted that the analog sound wasn't working correctly (Center channel only coming out the sub, and never the speaker). not a big deal till I just got my new Zalman surround headphones. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the nForce stuff, and that was a no go, then the onboard LAN takes a crap. It starts detecting some random IP that the router isn't giving out, and the router doesn't detect it. Connecting directly to the cable modem yields similar results (Same IP detected, not the one from the ISP). Soooo, now I flash the bios to the new one, same problem..... Went through all the nForces, and that also was a no go. THEN windows starts to not boot, I mess around in the bios, still doesn't boot, and then it randomly boots, and starts booting fine. So I backup the stuff, and now I'm in Format mode, if this doesn't work, I hope someone at Newegg or Shuttle wants to be nice to me. To make matters worse, I cleaned the basement yesterday, and out went the shuttle box:bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

Anyways, anyone have any ideas? I think its days are over personally.

/end sunofwolf rant.....

I would, I had the SN42-G2 and I loved it but I had to sell it...I was sad to see it go.

Either burn it, or RMA it and sell/burn the replacement.

There are not many boards that are worse than Shuttle's desktop boards, IMO. FIC and PCChips just about cover it, actually...

Naw, I love this SFF stuff, pretty sweet. Nothing like a shoebox that scores 18500 in 3Dmark01 :)

That's why I qualified it with "desktop" boards. Their SFF boards appear to be excellent, but their atx/matx boards are some of the worst I've ever had the misfortune of using.
