AMD reveals PR Rating revision details

The gentlemen over at DailyTech have the scoop on the new system. It's a bit confusing when considering the old tray SKUs indicated precisely what each CPU had in terms of TDP, cache, core and frequency; however if AMD believes that this will help pick them up by the bootstraps, so be it.

    Here we go again!

    PR ratings were perfectly legitimate a few years ago when AMD was trying to counter all Intel P4 megahertz marketing hype. But now? Why? Intel doesn't even trumpet their CPUs' frequency ratings now!

    Who knows... someone making more cash than us came up with the idea and than sold it to Mr. Hector, and now we get new names and numbers to memorize...
