So at my job I had to research barcoding software since we're starting to get into variable data printing. I found the right software and happily started exploring the interface. I grabbed an excel file from the customer which had 250 UPC codes for gift cards in it. I figured out how to format and import the data and was very smug with myself that it only took a few minutes.

So I go to export the newly created barcode files as EPS files for import into Indesign.

I click "save" and it prompts me for a single filename. I click OK and the next thing I know my desktop EXPLODES with icons:

I'm really, really good....

On the plus side, you don't have to save 249 more files.

The best part was he yelled "OH!" with this shocked look on his face and jumped back from the screen when it happened. ;D

co-worker: "what are you shouting about?"
TG81: "Oh, nothing. Nothing at all" as he madly tries to delete 250 files before anyone sees.......
