Microsoft, acknowledging Vista's shameful performance, has introduced two big update packages preceding the Q4 release of SP1. Some notable highlights include:

so I'll still need 4 GB to play solitare?
Solitare is only a 1 gig process....but you have to click "confirm" and "yes" after you move every stack of cards.
Maybe a couple of article ideas are in order if SP 1 does't pan out:
"Vista: The best thing that ever happened to Linux and Mac-OS"
or maybe
"Why did I pay $400US to hack Vista to run like XP?"
We would definitely get attention, and probably LOTS of it. Of course, the backfire a few days later might blow us off our wheels.
