And what is this memtest86 you speak of?

    *Prime pops a boner*

If you have an open FTP on your computer, you are basically screwed. You are asking to be hacked... It's not worth it.

WHAT did I tell you, Tony?! GAH!

Haha, funny. Memtest86 is the greatest thing ever! I mean, it made me realize there was nothing wrong with my memory. As it turns out, I'm just a stupid idiot! (J/K) Anyhow, back to the subject....

Wow, my memory was f--king me up. god. what a pain. I took a stick out and TADAA! all better. I dunno if it makes a difference, but it was ECC memory.

Don't know if it applies to you, but if your MB has three memory slots it may be unstable when using all three at 400MHz. Could be that the memory is OK, just too much for the chipset.

    (Learned the hard way)

Well, its a pIII board with 4 slots in it. Only 2 used. 100MHz. So nope. I miss the other 256 megs tho. It ran much better (while the chip was still working).
