Man wins right to review breathalyzer source

Let us hearken to a disappointingly common tale throughout the United States:

1. Man spends the night drinking.
2. Man is stupid and therefore loads his slovenly self into his auto and attempts to drive.
3. Man gets caught by cop on the way home.
4. Through his stupor he demands the source code to the breathalyzer.

WHAT.

Well, it seems the Minnesota Supreme Court concurs with the demand, and has granted the alleged drunk driver the right to review the code for the purpose of the case. The defendant claims that the device may just be a random number generator for all people know. Right.

Desperate dirtbag pulls out all the cards in attempt to avoid facing up to his responsibility. Oh, I should have said alleged dirtbag.

I have ZERO sympathy for drinking drivers. They are slime.

I honestly think the fines for drunk driving are not good enough. I think people should be thrown in jail for 60 days minimum + $5,000 to $10,000 in fines.... I have had many friends who have gotten DUI's and TBH I am no longer friends with any of them for the most part. It is mainly for the fact the crap they had to do didn't change their thoughts on the matter, and they still are idiots. 60 days in jail will make people think twice.

I've taken the keys from a guy I knew that wanted to leave a party. He insisted that he could drive and he wasn't drunk. But I figured if he was walking like a toddler then he probably wasn't in any kind of state to be driving. He gave up his keys pretty easy. I just said 'Daniel, give me your keys' and he said why, I told him I just wanted to look at them and he handed them to me. I had a friend killed by a drunk driver and have watched a family burn alive in a car because a drunk drive hit them head on at 90 something. bad stuff.

I personally have no problem assaulting even a friend to keep them from driving drunk... never had to yet, though one guy managed to slip by and he was originally trying to open someone elses car. So drunk was he that I thought he was faking it becuase it was so damned stereotypical. We kept him from driving until he somehow snuck out when the pizza guy showed up. I almost decked him the next day here at work becuase he could have killed someone that could have been on MY concious.

My brother was left for dead in the ditch by a drunk driver, luckily he wasn't seriously injured but his friend had a fractured leg or something. Thank God for cell phones becuase he was out in the middle of no where on their way back from fishing late at night. They never found the jerkoff, I hope he died in a fire.

Someone who drives when over the limit is:

    a) exceedingly stupid to really not know better
    b) callous vermin - does not care if they endanger innocent people
    c) exceedingly stupid and vermin
