I want to fdisk a WinXP pro laptop with NO floppy drive. I've read some waYS BUT HOLLY COW. There must be an easier way. Suppose I WANT TO go back to win2k pro

Boot off the Windows 2000 CD. After setup loads and you choose to install Windows, it gives you the option to delete and recreate partitions.

Now I am going to spank ya just a litle. QUIT !!! Thinking about fdisk! USE THE TOOLS from the newer OS's.
You NEVER need to boot to DOS again.... (ok ALMOST never... lol)
There is always a way to do this using the new tools.
Just boot into XP and it lets you add or delete partitions and format etc.....
You gotta ween yourself off of DOS.
