in the past 48 hours my car has been stolen, cleaned out, recovered by the police and everything in between. In the words of GHoosdum, I'd rather have been sniping.
Mas0n is a freak of nature with the demoman, he doesn't count.
I really need to work on another class tho. I've found that a good scout who is not caught by surprise should kill a demoman almost every single time, especially if we are out in the open. Best case scenario is I kill us both. Part of the great balance in this game.
I find it rather funny that my most damage was with a medic... Must have been that 6 minute run with three kills, three assists and a domination... And a nice tidy 1962 health healed... I am a force with the bone saw... I'll cuttabitch!!
Nothing is more frustrating than seeing your team get DECIMATED time and time again, and see them keep trying the same failing strategy time and time again, and then TELLING them: "Hey guys, we need to try this. See what the other team keeps doing and see how we lose every time?" and then having them reply with things like:
The combo strategy of medic and heavy is crucial. When I've played heavy and had a medic stick to me, I was able to annihilate a fair amount and push them back, but if all alone I would get taken out by demoman and snipers left and right. It got so frustrating after a while I switched to a medic and stuck with the heavy and/ or the engineer.
I primarily play Engineer, and I constantly marvel at the people who insist on running into an area that is covered by my sentry, getting mowed down by it (of course, trying to take a potshot at it), and then respawning and trying the same tactic again. And again. And again. As if somehow he'll be able to avoid the sentry fire if he just moves this way instead of that way....
I got pretty good with the soldier. Reached 16 kills in one life last night, but the only reason that happened was because my medic was AMAZING! I mean every time I called for him I would almost instantly get a health boost and I got ubered like 3 times. Never underestimate the value of a good medic.
Despite making people explode in < 1 second in TF with the sniper, I find that I'm not very good with it in TF2. I am, however, getting very good with the demoman which was a class I hated in TF. I'm also getting very good with the spy.
I will persist with my efforts in Sniping, however.
Got knocked off the other night and couldn't figure out what happened!
Long story short bellsouth changed my connection, saying I called and ordered a change on my account. Which I didn't. It was a billing office error.
So, As of tonight I'll have DSL Extreme 6.0 MBps for $18 less than I was paying for DSL Extreme 3.0 per mnth. And I'll be getting a $24 credit for having to pay $55 for 3.0 when the price dropped to $37 and they never notified me or gave me the drop in price because I didn't call and ask for it.

I really enjoy being an engineer, because I believe that tactical use of teleporters and dispensers can make or break a mission.
Of course, tactical use of medics/heavies can make or break a mission
But then, tactical use of spies can definitely make or break a mission.
Tactical use of snipers... oh crap, you get the idea. This is such a well balanced game, every class is totally useful and necessary

Medic just isn't a high scoring class...
It seems you're in the group now.
Gotcha!
Even I was surprised when that happened...

You'll get better pretty quick Cyclonite. I've been playing TFC, TFF, for about a month before TF2 finally got released. So I got a head start on yeh!
