Hey does anyone here know how to take off the thermaltake tr2 m12 for socket 478. I'm currently stuck with it, because i don't know how to do take it off.

Wow, I had to close my eyes and try to remember my last Socket 478 boards. It shouldn't be too difficult. I've attached a modified image of the two retaining clip assemblies that secure the sink to the motherboard. 1. red circles outline hooks that secure the sink to the motherboard mounting brackets; 2. shows how to press out one hook on each assembly from the bracket -- push down, then press in towards the heatsink when you feel the hook lose tension from the bracket
