I would say get a decent brand and you can't go wrong. There's performance drives from the likes of OCZ and some Corsair ones too. But I have a 4GB Kingston Data Traveller, and it does just fine - Fast and large enough for me and was pretty cheap to boot (£20/$40) :smiles: Hope this is of some help
I usually pick up Best Buy's Geek Squad versions on the cheap. I got my latest, a 4gb for $19.99. It has the U3 software on it, but thats easy to get rid of.

Yup, I know from experience that non-names and off-brands can have horribly cheap memory chips that perform very poorly.
Recommend Sandisk, Kingston, and other major brands. The market is flooded right now with almost any type and specification of memory. There shouldn't be that big of a price difference between quality potential junk.
