who said beer? Whiskey and Bloody Mary's ftw.

Golf course doesnt take reservations. It's first come first serve Mon-Fri.

So, the real quest becomes, GETTING EVERYONE UP TO GO PLAY!

Depending how the previous night went, you might need a cattle prod to get me moving :jared:

I played 9 yesterday with my buddy, and even giving each other mulligans I shot a 51. It's going to be a long morning lulz.

I'm gonna tell everyone the night before and attempt ONCE to wake you up to go play. Those who get up, will play, those who don't, SOL.

So, I suggest if you really want to play you don't get ****faced the night before, just the thought. Not like I don't know or anything...

Hope you all have a great time.
Wish I could be there to play too.
Golf has become one of my favorite sports.
When I can afford to play that is.
My best score was a 79 on a par 70 course. I par'd the front nine and shot nine over on the back.
The back nine was much tougher than the front nine.
And I didn't reach that scoring goal until I had played for 6-7 yrs.
Now days I don't get to play much, so my scores are more in the mid to low 90's.
High 80's if I get to practice enough.
A very tough game to score well at if you don't play on a regular basis.
I was playing at least twice a week when I played the 79.
Don't forget your golf etiquette while playing guys. Have fun.

    Ok... Need to know ASAP.

Who is planning on golfing and needs clubs.

Space is getting tight in my car. I can bring 2 extra sets (1 spoken for already) of clubs but if I only need the 1, that is going to make things much easier for me.

    Thanks.

1 set of clubs to: Nights
1 set of clubs to: ?????

I don't mind if the people I'm golfing with use my clubs while I'm using them...

I don't see why each team needs more than one set, myself, but I'm not a very avid golfer... a club is a club to me...

I don't even know the difference among them. I just use whatever the people I'm playing with suggest... :/

Most courses have a rule that says 1 set of clubs/person. Sharing clubs slows down play.

All we need is a golf bag and 5 clubs... I've done that before. Grabbed a crappy 1950's golf bag and went golfing with a bud with no clubs. When we got there, I gave him 4 clubs and a driver. Passed the test.

FC.. You have shwaip covered? Ah.. bah.. I will just bring both sets.. that way if Jared can't get his.. we are done.

um serious, I play with the same guys every weekend, and we dont share clubs. When you spend $1000-$2000 on clubs, you dont share. I can see the $100 bag of clubs from a yard sale sharing, but I'm not letting anyone use my Nike Sasquatch driver. Every club is different, even from the same company. When I switch drivers it took me a good 3 months to adjust to the new driver to hit consistant.

Also, rules state 1 set of clubs per person. Luckily the course we are playing doesnt even take tee-times so I don't see a problem with club lending if we need to.

Update: NiGHTS is no longer able to attend the LAN.

Can I use the set of clubs he was going to use so I won't have to check my clubs?

If someone needs them, thats cool I'll lug mine along, but if we have an extra set id rather just use those then check mine.

    cheers :jared:

ZOMG, failure to update the thread.

Ryder, QCH2002, and CB were victorious in the First IC Lan Golf Scramble. We finished 4 under par with a 66 for 18 holes.

T_T, Fatcat, Shwaip, and Jared finished even par, I believe? A good time was had by all, I think.

P.S.... Beer cart chick was hot, Golf Carts and sprinklers mix very well, and CB loves to drive the cart :D

Yes I will say the golf scramble was ****ing great.

Def. one of the highlights of the LAN for me. It was nice to get out of the house, enjoy the great weather, and tear up the greens.

The course may of been cheap (price wise) but it was very nice.

We must go back next year.

    cheers :jared:
