Since I haven't seen much for sale here recently, I thought I would ask if anyone has any nice PCIe cards for sale. I'm building my new system and was looking at something like an 8600GT or similar.

What do you guys have?

I have a BFG 7600GT OC with a Zalman FC-ZV9 cooler. I have no idea if it would be suitable for your needs. What games do you wish to play? Go ahead and post here and we'll let gamers advise you if it would work for you. If not, we'll find you something else! We have very helpful people at Icrontic. Also, what operating system will you use? One advantage of the 7600GT OC is that it does not require a PCI-e power connector. It is DirectX 9; don't know if you want DX10/DX10.1 or not.

I'm not a huge gamer, since I do a lot of gaming on the 360. I would like to just about play any game out there, but doesn't have to be highest quality. I would like to play BattleField 2142, TeamFortress2, and Unreal Tournament 3 mainly. I would like the card I get to be able to run settings pretty high on most games, since I have always ran near the lowest on my old computer and my laptop to play anything. :)

How much for the 7600? You can PM about it if you would like.

Hey, Nick, yes, we use PMs for negotiating. But I don't even want to make an offer unless we know this card would work for you. I will not intentionally unload something on you that might disappoint.

I'm not a gamer, so we'll get some expert opinions - not mine, LOL.

    You've got a PM.

I opened a thread HERE for advice on this card.

I will tell my cousin about this one. He was looking at ordering the 9600 for about that price this week.

The 9600GT is faster than the 640GTS, and your price is $35 more expensive.
