pc power on/off ? how weird is it

I have a problems, it sounds very weird, first, it said, non boot disk found, all I did is unplugged power cable at the back, plugged it back and switch it on, it worked, How and why ?

I did analysis internal, all cable everything sound goods, no problems at all, but I still have to unplug power power cable every time the pc was turn off .......

any ideas ? please help! :bigggrin:

    I feel this is a warning that perhaps the Hard Disk controller on the motherboard may be failing ?
    I've seen it before where cutting off the electricity helps overcome this type of weakness and ultimately total failure.

    You could try opening it up and removing all the cards/connectors and plugging them all back in again to see if this re-seating helps the situation ?

    If it weren't for the message of "non boot disk" I would have assessed the problem was probably a bad power supply. Try the cable maintenance itworks recommends.
