Cantrellia Prime has a level 20 marketplace and is quickly building up the trading office so that the 8-hour roundtrips aren't so painful.

Just in case I'm attacked at my capital, anybody have room for troops with 5k of wheat consumption?

You can send 2,500 to Cantrellia Prime, but that's all I can handle.

Don't think so. I feel like leaving the capital there just to piss him off.

Piss him off or add to his target practice?

Q-Aries has plenty of room. She's already holding a party with TBonz's troops.

I think I missed the post on the location of where I should migrate my village too... I seem so far away from y'all.

Originally I think the plan was to put our second village in the powerbase (-91, 148 area), and then our third to what we're calling the outpost (-76, 284 area). Since Keebler and Black Hawk had some villages stolen by this godsend guy (what this thread is about), now I think we've abandoned the whole powerbase concept and are more into having people put a village (or more) in the outpost. If you move to the outpost keep in mind to spread out as to not force others to share their oases

For more outpost fun, see here

When this batch is finished I'll have 600 troops, I'll get it to 1000 and then train cavalry :D

At the end of the day he's playing the game to try and win.
If that means taking out the competition that's threatening your supply lines, he's doing a good job.
    That said, he's still a b@st@rd !

As I'm smack up against his 3x oasis on the East I imagine my turn will come in the next day or two...

I fear I'm next... I'm the biggest village in my 7x7 other than godsend's village. I am re-enforcing right now. It's almost not worth it since he's been coming with over 10000 troops.

I'm thinking about quitting until the server restarts. We just got into this way too late. All we can play for is experience at this point and I feel I already have that.

Actually, screw that. I'm playing just for revenge.

I hoping he does attack... I'll have over 6000 sitting in Aries. While they would no doubt die, they would bite him hard. I just wish we could coordinate a nice offensive. Like have Panther send defensive troops to the three or four big villages and wait. When he attacks, we leave Panther to defend and we blitz attack one or two of his villages. I have 40 catapults that still have the wrapping on them... never opened.

If Aries wants company, just give me enough warning. Beachhead, Wild Bill, and Roadblock could make a decent showing. They've all gone defensive.

and as it will ultimately effect me as well, I have 320 Praetorians, 190 Legionnaires & 310 Imperians @ Saracen2 in the powerbase at your disposal.
I know its going to happen soon, so going to concentrate on building more lvl8 Praetorians in readyness.

    Just say the word..

You never know if we can re-inforce whoever, after the 1st attack (he appears to send in 10k+ troops accompanying 300 rams/30+ catas) we might just take out 2 senators..

I guess I've been delegated to providing defense only and so freeing up more troops for the offensive.

I like the idea of asking Panther to help us out, after all, they do owe us one. :)

My little army has been expanding pretty quickly without people bothering me, but I've been focusing more on offense-based units. Should I switch over towards spearmen and paladins to try and help against this guy? Either way it shouldn't be so bad cause knights are good defense vs cavalry I think.

Here's what I have in my capital...Medlock is only just starting to produce troops of its own.

I HAD an offensive army before I sent it away to defend someone and lost all of them. After that, just defensive units a few raiding troops. That's it.

How are you differentiating offensive troops from defensive? All troops, sans scouts, have both offensive and defensive points.

Yes, and all troops are clearly better at one than the other ;) For Romans, Praetorians are defensive and Imperians are offensive. Legionnaire are a bit of both but lean defensive.
