Wireless Pop Up

i have my laptop connected to my NB6W wireless router and for the last two weeks the wireless notification has been popping up and i cannot stop it even though i am already connected to the router. Also for some reason just before the popup the laptop seems to disconnect from the network thus internet connection is lost and a second later the popup comes again and i am connected. This is very annoying since it happens many times meaning the net disconnects many times

    First step, reset the router. Simply unplug the power cable, let it sit for 60 seconds, then let it power up again.
