Hey all, I'm looking for a driver for the HP photosmart C5280 printer that works in win98se.

since HP withdrew support for win98, they seem to have removed the drivers for win98.

I'm told that HP 5.1 is that driver, but I'm having trouble finding one to download.

I can understand your frustration. My search produced no answers - just message boards of others asking the same question as you, with essentially no knowledgeable answers except that there apparently aren't any drivers for Windows 98 and probably not 98SE. Apparently your C5280 was manufactured after Windows 98/SE was already obsolete. You realize, don't you, that Windows 98 was dropped from Microsoft support over five years ago? I'm not criticizing you, just find it remarkable that you've kept '98 so long. If it works, don't fix it; but the time has come when it may no longer work.
