Ok, I suppose I should start my duties now.

Any questions about rules, like if you aren't sure if something is legal in travian law then ask here.

Don't be shy!

I'll try to respond ASAP.

I violate pushing about every day. What is the point of having a rule they can't or won't enforce?
  • Invisible-MuffinInvisible-Muffin Scotland
    edited April 2008
because they can enforce it, it's bound to be discovered at some point by the multihunters if done all the time.

and how do you mean you violate it? who are you sending the resources to, and what amounts?

Well. Just people who need it really. I send over my daily amounts to people (usually less than 500 pop) that i had personal alliances with on my last accounts.

Hi Muffin! Congrats on the promotion! I have a question, though it came up earlier in another thread.

Is it against the rules of Travian to attack an ex-member of your Alliance for a period of time after they leave? How long for?

I searched the ukx forums and the Moderator(not MH) said 2days, but is there a Travian Rule-book somewhere I don't know about? I've read the spielregeln.php from the main page and it doesn't seem to cover it!

since they're smaller than you, your limit to each would be 3 times your total hourly production over all your villages put together.

yeah, two days is the limit before you can legally raid/attack former members.

most of the rules just float about in space i think, i can't remember most of the places i got my info from, but i know it's all correct :p

    Another question mr Muffin sir:

How quickly do troops starve? If I reinforce a Village that run's out of wheat do they starve slowly or do all of them die the very hour that the granary empties?
  • Invisible-MuffinInvisible-Muffin Scotland
    edited April 2008
when the wheat level hits 0, then one of the weakest troops in that village dies, giving off 40 wheat. i think that they may give off 40 wheat per consumption, so a horse would give 80, 120 or even 160.
then it goes on decreasing again, until the negative consumption goes away, or more wheat comes.

I killed Keebler's hero lat night via starvation. I did my wheat math and I thought I had enough. Then I left for home... he sent troops, my wheat ran low, his hero arrived and died within minutes. I got home and saw the wheat hit zero... POOF... gone.

    Hero Sub? Hero Chili? Hero-ka-bob?

I have an odd thing that just happened to falconers village.
I was working on sending resources/upgrading etc, between my 4 villages.
All of a sudden falconers village is only producing 43 wheat per hr...
I had it up around 2600 per hr or there abouts.
The rest topped at 3000 and say they are maxed out if you try to upgrade.
Is it because i made talon 3 my capitol?
I just did that this afternoon too.
I fear i'm going to lose my troops because the granary only has 263 wheat in it.!

Normal villages top out at level 10 resources where as capitals can go beyond. As soon as you switch capitals, the resources over 10 drop to 10.
  • HawkHawk Fla Icrontian
    edited April 2008
    Correction;
I had all the resources up around 5000+ per hr and they all dropped to 3000 and the wheat went to 43.
Then how do I get the wheat back up?

if you switched capitols your resources cannot go past 10.
  • LincLinc Owner Detroit Icrontian
    edited April 2008
You can't. When your capital moved, your wheat fields dropped to level 10, thereby removing the buffer you had.

Wheat/hr = wheat production - what your pop/troops eat (upkeep)

You're just lucky it didn't go negative if you weren't paying attention to that. The game warns you this will happen before you switch.

I hadn't made my first falconers village a capitol.
It was the largest of my villages though.
I didn't have a capitol until today when I made my forth village talon 3 the capitol.

if you havent manually switched capitols or made a palace then your first village remains your capitol

So, Falconers village is done expanding or making troops.

if its not your capitol, its pretty limited.

Unless you move troops to somewhere and let that player pay the wheat charge. Keebler and I have done that. Build, move troops, build more. :D

Chronos would be well over 4000 in the negative if every troop was home for Christmas.

How often can you send resources to your own villages per day?
Didn't know if the rules allow unlimited transfers or not.
  • TBonZTBonZ Ottawa, ON Icrontian

It's unlimited sending to yourself. It's your resources, send and spend as you see fit as long as your villages are benefiting.

    Sorry muffin!

OK, So, If I destroy the palace at talon 3, then Falconers village (my first village) reverts back to the capitol.
Then I can get my resources back up there to ship to other villages.
I just don't want to lose time setting up the rest of the villages.
It's getting frustrating to figure out what to do.

You'd have to rebuild everything from level 10 again.
  • HawkHawk Fla Icrontian
    edited April 2008
    Yep, That I figured.
But, Will that limit all my other villages to 10 (When i get them that high.) on resources?
I'm just trying to figure out if I should just destroy falconers village or build it up to send resources.
Even though it's a 5 hr trip for my merchants.

Yes, the only village where you can exceed level 10 is your capital.

no, it won't just revert back to the capital i don't think.
since you just designated that one as capital, you'd have to demolish the palace there, and build a new one somewhere else to make that capital.

and your fields won't come back for free i'm afraid.
