if you have a senator in a village and the residence is only level 10 but you have the culture point to take 2 more villages, can you take 2 villages?

As soon as you conquer the target village the Senator disappears, so no.
You'd have to take the residence to level 20 to make a 2nd senator.

If you have one senator, he disappears when the village converts. If you have two, one stays one can be re-used.

in reference to the trading rule that you mentioned on previous pages, i have not yet been caught for this. I send out shipments well over my hourly production rate, and i'm sure people like Q will know this, as I have recently sent him a hell of a lot of stuff cos i dont want/need it, and no one has queried me doing so despite the fact that he does not send anything to me (not that i want anything)!
I think this could be due to the fact that a) mulithunters are not doing their jobs properly, or b) they are having a lot of problems with other more important stuff, like WW, so tbh, i wouldnt worry about trading too much!

BTW, i'm getting rid of my villages, so anyone who wants one check out the 'i'm bored anyone want my villages?'. I have virtually raised all the production fields to the max, i left the alliance more than 48 hours ago, theres no troops, theres s**t loads of resources in them, and theres no palaces/residences!

How do catapults and Rams work? Know I've read about somewhere before.

If I send 1000 Rams I'll lose less troops than if I send just enough to take down the wall. Got a link Muffinman?

it is programmed into the system that you can't send more than the hourly limit to one person per day.
there are some safeguards and the MH's get some sort of message i think, i don't know. they make the rules and enforce them. once or twice can slip through without notice, but eventually they'll see it.

send rams and it'll damage or destroy the wall, making their defence bonus go down, making them lose more, you lose less.
each wall needs different amounts of rams to destroy
