Burning Data CD

I am trying to make a Data CD (in Nero StartSmart) out of a few zip files that I have but it won't work.

    I'm afraid we're going to need some more information before we can even begin to troubleshoot this.

    At what point does it fail? Do you get an error message? Has Nero worked in the past? Will the zip files fit on the disc you are attempting to use? Have you had any other issues with the drive?

    We'll start there.

    It fails after burning 10%. I tried to burn some audio files and had the same problem. Nero has worked in the past. The files would fit on the CD. And no, I haven't had any issues with the drive.

    Try to make sure you don't have any other programs running in the background and then turn down the burn speed to 2x and see if that fixes the problem. Could be you are getting buffer errors.
