    Here's a quick display of the benefit of the TS. TF1 has a level 18 square and TF4 has a level 14 square:

    TF1 --> TF4
    Leg - 10:13:55
    Prat - 12:16:42
    Scout - 3:50:13

    TF4 --> TF1
    Leg - 11:31:14
    Prat - 13:49:29
    Scout - 4:19:13

    This is a comparison with TF1's level 18 tournament square, versus, TF7 without a tournament square:

    TF1 --> TF7
    Leg - 9:42:02
    Prat - 11:38:26

    TF7 --> TF1
    Leg - 22:39:41
    Prat - 27:11:37

    are they slower simply cos they are PRATS??? :p

    Btw - You need two level 20 warehouses to reach level 18. You will need three warehouses to get to level 20.

    Yeah, I gotta lose my Academies soon, heh.

    They're also VERY clay-intensive. I find myself hurting for clay.... and there happen to be 2 five-clay villages nearby... and I have the culture points for two more villages... Hmmm...

    Once you destroy your academy, you'll no longer be able to train troops that required "researching" nor be able to make settlers nor senators, correct? My academy is at level 20, and the thought of not being able to train the troops/settlers/senators that I've already researched is enough deterrent to me to keep me from bringing in the wrecking ball.

    No, once everything is researched you don't need your Academy any more. It only gives you culture points.

    So demolishing it doesn't undo your researches? Praetorians, Imperians, Legati, Imperatoris, Caesaris, Ram, Fire Catapult, Settlers and Senators are ALL still available to be trained if I demolish the Academy?

    Yes that is correct.

    Tournament Square Level 19:

    TF1 --> TF4
    Leg - 9:57:55
    Praet - 11:57:30
    Scout - 3:44:13

    Was it worth it to build level 19 from 18? No, not really. It requires 3 warehouses and is insanely expensive. So expensive, I haven't even bothered to look at what lvl 20 costs yet. :eek3:

    I have, haha. It's worth it if you have so many feeder villages that it doesn't matter :D Level 20 requires a fourth warehouse.

    Hera is waiting for the final upgrades to Axemen and Scouts before leveling the armoury so I can build another warehouse.
