It's X3 Day here at ICHQ as the first triple core processor hits the streets. Our own Mike D. has prepared a great review for Icrontic readers; an EPIC tale of awesomesauce and terribad that'd make a sweet basis for a country ballad, but we're also proud to share what other sites are saying too.

    At Icrontic, we do out best to ensure that we are consistent and thorough in our testing. Below is an outline of our testing methodology and configuration.

    Just noting a spelling error ;) Awesome article though so far! It's the first I've been willing to read in quite some time due to lack of interest in the computer area of late. I'll have to finish it up in the morning :D

    The article is a little late, I had some in store just over a week ago....haven't gotten anyone to buy one yet. Haven't heard of anyone asking for them or a sales man selling one so don't have any good review of them in the ever so capable hands of the public.

    Everyone had articles on this at the same time, the NDA or w/e was lifted and reviews were allowed to be posted.

    Sorry, after all the symmetric designs, this just seems as strange as a 3-dollar bill.

    Thanks also for the links to the other reviews- a key one for me is the Tech Report Folding@Home. Unfortunately the results for those tests seemed like a cruel joke for me. Also, I'm not sure how SMP will do.

    Still, you have to give AMD a bit of credit for a little bit of cunning.
