Hi Guys, (& Gals!:D )

I have a CoolerMaster ATX-110 case, and I know CoolerMaster makes a generic aluminum drive face.

My question is does anyone make quality Aluminum drive faces for LiteOn Drives? The stick on ones look like doo-doo (technical word!)

Thanks,

-Rada-

I have the same problem.... I do not want to show my ugly cream colored CD-RW on my cool case. I need to stealth it. What is the easiest way? I figure cut the bezel so it's flat and attach it to the front on the cr-rw cover but how?

There are a few ways you could do it, depending on how you want it stealthed. A couple simple ones.

    1. Crazy/Super glue the bay cover to the drive tray (you might have to do some cutting to make the bay cover rest flat with the surface of the case.

    2. Transpose the dimensions of the drive tray to the bay cover (being extremely careful to get it lined up) and cut the bay cover so that the tray can pop out and allow you to load a CD.

Also, have you done a search for "drive stealthing" or "cd drive stealthing?" That might yield something useful, or might not. :)

You'd think decrease in price, and increase in popularity of aluminum cases, the OEM Drive manufacturers would start putting a quality aluminum bezel on their drives. Even if it was faux-brushed aluminum, if done right, it could still look good. I worked in the sign industry as a teenager, and made waterproof cardboard panels look like real brushed aluminum panels.
