just read this at the folding frogs site :bigggrin: new NVIDIA cards with CUDA should be able to fold up some proteins soon

    It's about time.

    I doubt if they'll be adding a AMD/nVidia folding ppd metric to the performance reviews anytime soon- even though the practice seems to be fairly prevalent in the Folding community.

    I've held back from this for quite a while, but now that I have a 3870, I'm hoping to try the client soon ....

    So a GeForce 8 series should work when the client is released, right? Hope so because i've got a rig that could put out some serious folding...

    It should. I do believe the key is how well CUDA is supported on the board.
