    my msconfig and my regedit windows will only stay open for 10 seconds then they close then I get a dos window when i start that shows services 21 starting Ran Adaware and Avast antivirus didnt find anything. I stopped it from starting up when i boot but its still here and my msconfig and regedit windows still wont stay open. WTF is this thing?? Ran a search on Nortons site didnt come up with anything same with google/ msn/ yahoo and Microsoft.com

    got me ...looks like teh bug.
    I scanned my registry and see no "services21"

    started on my dads pc last night too


    I gotta get it fixed I think this is whats causeing folding to lock if the pc isnt active and other shizz to crash like mozilla and Word

    found them in my system with find files / folders but i cant delete them

    yes sir file in start up thats how i disabled it but i dont have alot of time in the folders before they auto close

    Windows Startup entry has GOT to go - I would bet $525 that it's either a virus or spyware.

    Well it was tricky to delete from the Reg cause i had maybe 5 sec to get to it now but those hours of UT finally paid off as i deleted the sucker! hopefully that solves it. i just wanna make sure its gone before i format and install Win2k and piss on Xp

    yea but I dont wanna do a fresh install on my dads pc So i am doing everything i know of on mine so i can do it on his to fix it. I dont care if i fubar my OS install now its gonna be gone tonight anyways as 2k goes back on this puppy!

    Careful! Most of the stuff it finds is good, if not downright necessary. It just gives you a list of startup junk and crap that gets stuffed into your browser (The BHO's)
