Saracen has (very) kindly volunteered and is ideally placed and a Roman (best wall).
He's building up his wall as we speak (that's the kindly part!)!
I'm a day or two from Phalanx, and would like to join in, so Sunday sounds good to me! Basically, "use" Saracen as an initial holding-house. Duchess gets a wall up.... we all move to her and get in a fight ! Meanwhile, someone else who's been being raided (volunteers? Middge? Tom? TB?) builds a decent wall... and we head there next and so on, all the time adding to the communal troups until we can split into 2 groups and eventually have enough to put up a decent defense on out own!
BuddyJ, I had to send your 5 macemen home due to an incoming attack.
With my 15 Legs and your 5 mace the Combat Sim reckons they'd be in the grave against the 20 mace the attacker sent.
As the attack had been initiated whilst I was asleep I only had about 5 mins notice after getting up and had to make a quick choice, stay and fight or run and hide. I choice run and hide this time round.
Chicks has now just taken another 15C -49/60. I have been in contact with one of my NAPs/Personally Ally's who is part of ONE (H) who mentioned she is being attacked by Chicks.
Chickenbone of ONE(H) has also taken a 15C in my 7 x 7 - I have some dialogue going with him.
Maybe this could be an opportunity that our alliance and ONE could work to a mutual cause. As Chicks is NOT aligned with anyone.
I have accumulated enough paladins to ward off angel of death. He really isnt that good a of a player as far as growth rate and raiding tactics. In Fact I think i could take him myself now. So int hat light I recommend we focus on duchess right now. I can send about 30-40 paladins by sunday easy. Maybe double that if i get lucky with raiding.
I'm still about 24 hours off building troops! Residence is Lvl 8 and about to hit 9... then it's just a case of waiting for settlers and using an NPC or two to get my target 9c!
Soon as that happens I'll start sending troops to Saracen, aiming for 50 Phalanx by Sunday morning... 10 of us can all contribute about the same, that'll make 500 troops, if Duchess adds a Lvl 10 wall, we should be able to see off all comers!!!
