    RTKHDAud.sys is Realtek HD Audio Driver. As for how to troubleshoot this problem, I couldn't give you advice.

    I suggest posting here to see what steps to take.

    oh ok thanks Trogan.

    as far as why kaspersky asays i still have AVG installed, how can I go about this? cuz its clearly no whre to be found.

    I am trying to INSTALL kaspersky but it is telling me to remove AVG FIRST then to try and install later. Problem is, i dont have AVG at all.

    Install AVG and uninstall it properly through Add/Remove programs.

    If that does not work, try another Anti-Virus and see if that installs.

    now im gettin a protocol.sys issue in that blue screen. it keeps changing errors when that blue screen crash comes on.

    I updated the audio driver,we'll see how that goes, as that apparently was one of the errors, the other two errors are...

    the protclys.sy one and one that says DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL thats exactly how it says it.

    I did that and still a no go. Says plz remove AVG. : (
