They're still not an MMO in any sense of the word, because the world is neither massive nor persistent.

All depends on what your into. Guild Wars in my experience was really good and easy to get into. You also have a ton of different versions to pick from. If you're into a flip load of lvl grinding then go with any kid of Korean/Korean port like 2Moons, be careful with those though cause you might find youself frusterated within the first 30-60 lvls of grinding.

How is that game Gunz? I am pretty hardcore with MMO's and I like its gun/anime style influence.

Guild Wars is probably for you. No monthly fee, easy to start, easy to play, can come and go as you please.

Gunz was ok, If your into FPS MMO's then your definetly going to like it. You can also look into multiple versions of the game like IJJI, and other private servers. I personally perfured the IJJI version a lot better the the Satans Server (or network, Can't remember). lol Strange name. But it again, all goes to preference.

I alpha and beta tested Lineage II and LOTR online. I've actually bought and subscribed to EQ, EQ2, and WoW. I usually quit when in get bored or get to buisy with school. I'm back to EQ2 now.
