You'll have to tells us more. What exactly is the trouble? Connection cuts in and out? Not connecting at all?

This is the equivalent of going to the doctor and saying "I don't feel good." You gotta tell us where it hurts.

We need motherboard model, OS and service pack level, brand of NIC, so on and so forth. We can't diagnose what we don't know.

    We cannot help without details.

    1. What is the trouble you're having (please do not respond "it just doesn't work")?
    2. Are you receiving any kind of error message?
    3. Is this the only computer on your network?
    4. Please give details about your computer
4a. If it is a computer you purchased from the store, what brand/model?
4b. If you built it, what are the components (CPU, motherboard, RAM, network, etc)?
    5. What is your operating system (WinXP Home, Vista, Linux, OS X, etc)?
    6. What other software is installed on your computer?

This should be a good start. The more information you give, the more help you can get.
