I agree. Wait until we actually SEE it rather than just hear about it.

    Hell, if HEARING meant everything.. Thrax.. I hear about a 5600+ Athlon FXT321000 on a 400fsb with 6mb of L2 cache ..

gotta step out, will post linkage when I get back in a bit BUT Inquirer and several others say it's real, and there was a live display as shown there at a recent trade show (Comdex?? forget, will track it down, c/w photos)

It's not fake. MaximumPC did an article on a pre-production unit. I've never seen a worse wiring job in my life, even in a Dell

They also stacked 4 15,000rpm/18gb Seagate SCSI drives and a 250GB WD one right on top of the other in that Prometia case. I don't even want to think about the temps. those drives are hitting.

I picked mine out at $28,302.99...

Still thats some nice inovations of the current technologies that are out there...

Wonder how that would stack up aginst an opertron's performance...

That company has been around for a few months. I remember reading some threads somewhere asking others "why you would ever buy this" or somesuch.

Edit: Holy fark.. Refridgerant? That's where the $8k goes..

There's actually nothing THAT special about that. It's just a Vapochilled pc with some extras IMO.
I can see a legal battle about the name soon enough though unless Nventiv have forgotten to protect Mach with phase-change cooling.
