So I bought my new work laptop and decided to try Mac this time seeing as I'm going to have to start supporting them next summer...

Anyways, is it fairly easy to set up SMP on a mac? It's a mackbook pro, dual 2.5 C2D, so it should put out some decent points.

Dan, I don't know if we have any other Mac users here running Folding@Home?

    ANNOUNCEMENT:

If you are a Mac user and run Folding@Home, please report in! :)

last time I checked folding@home with my imac there was no SMP cores/wu's availible, just normal cores/wu's.

but yes it is very easy to setup folding@home in OSX

I've run it on my Hackintosh; it's faster than the Windows client as well, as it's running on its native code rather than being a port. The only thing you can't do to my knowledge is run multiple instances as you can in Windows.
