    haha I can see it now... "Thrax Teh Minute Man" anyway seems to be ok now.. Think this will slow it down any?

    Not really.

    Although modern SATA controllers provide 150MB/s of bandwidth, regular ATA100/ATA133 HDDs don't need more bandwidth than 60MB/s per disk. Sticking 2 HDDs on an ATA100/133 controller is more than enough for HDDs to function properly.
