7200rpm Laptop hard drives

Anyone seen any reviews of the Toshiba 50GB/7200RPM/16MB thing? It's a lot cheaper than the HGST drive, and I'm thinking about getting one.

My 4200rpm drive is just too slow... I swear, my laptop runs like a Pentium 133 sometimes because of that goddamn hard drive. For a machine with a 2.4GHz P4, 512MB of RAM, and a Radeon 7500, it's really slow sometimes, and the hard drive is the culprit.

I just confirmed this last night... I ran ATTO on the drive, and boy was it depressing... <20MB/s reading and writing max. :banghead:

I benched my 5400 8MB in Linux and it got 25MBps, so it will be interesting to see what a 7200 gets....
