GPU and SMP - Assigning Cores

edited November 2008 in Folding@Home
I apologize if this is already listed in the forums somewhere.

I've got two Intel Quad Core's (Q6600 and Q9450) both with NVIDIA 8800 GT's... I've read in the forums, and found that I get the best PPD production with the magic formula:

1 GPU Client - 1 Core
1 SMP Client - 3 Cores

I used SMP Affinity Changer in the past before I got my 8800GT's... my question is... is there an Affinity Changer that can handle the assignment listed above? I've just been manually switching affinities in task manager everytime the SMP client finishes a WU (as the SMP client takes all 4 cores by default).

Awesome... thanks for the quick reply... this should be good for at least another 4000 PPD as I gave up on the manual affinity changes a couple of weeks ago.

No problem. We'll answer everything 20 times (well maybe not 20) if that's what takes to get Team 93 back to where it should be.
