Good RAM?

Are there any brands/models of RAM that are more-or-less on par with Corsair's XMS stuff in terms of performance, but without the high price? I'm going to (at some point) FSB mod my 1800, and I don't think my DDR400 is going to handle a higher FSB speed; it's cheap, generic memory, and although I've had it up to 218MHz without a problem, I don't think it's going to be going a whole hell of a lot higher than that. So, if my chip can do more than that after the mod, I may be buying new RAM...

//edit
forgot to mention, I'm looking for 512MB sticks... 1GB of RAM is a must.

    If you find something, and it will run 220+ at CAS 2, I'll be next in line after you. Nothing like that around that I'm aware of.

    I'm not looking for DDR400 specifically, if you're talking about DDR400 that'll run 220 @ CL2...

    I'm just looking for something good that's cheaper than the XMS. PC3700 that'll run at CL 2.5 would be fine. I could put up with CL3, but I won't be all that happy about it...

    Judging from the reviews here pc3200 Buffalo ram seems to be your safest bet.
    PC3200 Buffalo Tech with Winbond CH5 chips, pretty good stuff at a reasonable price too.

    The new winbond CH5 chips, from what I've been told, do about 230-240 fsb @ 11-3-2-2/2.5. They also love voltages. So basicly you're getting probably what the top of the line pc3500 memory is equipped with for the price of cheap, generic ram.

    If Mack could back me up on this, it would be great. Since, I'm about 85% certain about the previous paragraph.

    BH5 loves voltage, CH5 is indifferent
